In this piece, I reinterpreted a classic painting from the master, Raphael. I used a more contemporary way of rendering figures called ‘manga.’ This style is very popular with the youth and up and coming artists. I thought it would be interesting to see how Raphael might be interpreted using this style since art, especially religious art, aims to reach out to the public as well as glorify God.
