“Playing with Numbers”

I love seeing more and more women in STEM fields. I hope girls are not actively or indirectly discouraged from this pursuit anymore.

The mathematical formula is taken, with
permission, from my friend’s PhD dissertation. In her field, she is often one of the few women in the room. I think the formula is beautiful, but I have no idea what it means or how to apply it which just
enforces the awe I have for my friend’s excellent mind.
